Freaking frustrating

While playing Call of Duty online today, everything was choppy for some reason. People would run, and they would basically skip steps, if you know what I mean. I know it's not trying to run the game on settings that are too high, because I play on the same settings all the time and everything is fine. Also, I have a fast internet connection, with a ping usually around 50, so I don't think that's it either. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing the choppiness?

Perhaps the server in which you were playing in was experiencing some problems?

Its your video card, why dont you think about getting a 6600. That card is really old yo, i highly recommend a new card.

I would think it's the card.

Also make sure you have the NEWEST drivers

I don't think it's the video card. As I said, I've been playing for months with this setup on the same settings, and have never had any lag like this. I'm not trying to play at high settings with AA or AF enabled. I think the server must have just been messed up.
