I have been trying to ge tthrough your instructions, but apart from being technically challanged, I've noticed that I cant access the internet in safe mode . DO I switch back to a normal boot b4 trying those online scans that are suggested b4 running hijack this? It also seems that the scanners dont play well with firefox search engine? More than 1 of them mentioned a compatibility problem....Apart from family, this is the most frustrating thing I have ever tried to deal with!!!
