blue tooth adapter

any 1 help me ive got a bluetooth adapter first time i used it it said install software 1st that was ok all fine .then i formatted my comp and 4 got to put drivers in first. then windows xp put there own software in and it wont work every time now i try to put the proper drivers in it says bluetooth not found so how can i stop windows bluetooth devices from running it isnt in the add and remove please help me .

Go to device manager (right mouse click on my computer, then properties, click the hardware tab then Device Manager) Usually somewhere at the top the bluetooth devices are displayed, right mouse click and select update driver. Go through this process by choosing driver from disk and install the drivers from your bluetooth cd, if u dont have one find the software for your device on the net. Once u've done this it is likely you needto reboot to take effect. Hope this helps.
