how often do u clean install xp??

I usually reinstall less than once a year. I try not to mash my computer so I can keep it running properly.

I do so much stuff on it. Exchange parts from my pc to the ones I fix. Sometimes I just get bored and reinstall everything or I find a new trick or hack, etc. It's just somthing to do.

At least once a year, small things like adding SCSI controller can screw up entire system

Because I read HiJack Logs, even as well protected as I am, I'm more prone to spyware than most...and something can get messed up. IF enough gets messed up, I'll do a reinstall rather than try and fix it. But I prefer to fix it since I know HOW to fix them, LOL.

Last reinstall I did was due to slipstreaming XP with SP2 tho. And then putting it on a SATA. That was just before Christmas. Liz

I do my wife about 1 once a year (it has system recovery) and my kids twice (it is 2 years old)
