I'm getting some new computer parts and I'd like to know who makes better memory. The parts are an AMD 64 3400+ processor and an MSI K8N Neo-Platinum motherboard. The memory I'm considering is Corsair, Platnium or Kingston.

btw the geil i got is awsom id consider that (and it has a blue heatsink so it looks cool)

geil value ram is the best value ram i seen with some very good timings 2.5 3 3 6 (i know its not the best but for the price its definatley worth a looking at)

Mike up there has the right idea. Those G. Skill sticks can hit some amazing speeds if you know how to overclock. Up to PC4400 speeds with 2.5-3-3-7 timings.

Other good brands are Patriot XBL series and PQI Turbo series RAM.

Those are much better overclockers than Corsair could ever be thanks to the specific type of IC's they use and the actual board the RAM is printed on.

Here's some info on G.Skill:

And heres an article regarding IC's and Brainpower PCB:

Contrary to popular belief corsair isn't that great. That's for people who haven't thoroughly searched the RAM market and are jumping on the bandwagon.
