Hi All,
My PC has one hardisk (40GB) with two partitions of 20GB each.
C: has Win2k ADV SRV installed and D: had WS03 ENT SRV installed.
I took a ghost image of D:, using Symantec Ghost 8.0, and stored it on a CD. Then I formatted it and used it as a data partition for a month or so.
Now, when I tried to restore the D: ghost image (WS03 ENT SRV) on my D:, using Symantec Ghost 8.0, the process went on fine.
But when I try to boot into D: it gives the following error:
"ntoskrnl.exe missing or corrupt"
I tried the above procedure (i.e. taking a ghost image of OS partition and then formatting it and resotoring the ghost image)on two of my friend's computer and the behaviour is the same, i.e. the same error message come up.
Can any one provide resolution to this problem?????
Thanks in advance,
Vikas
