Clearing Search History in IE6???

I can't clear my search history. No matter what i do it still comes back up. I've tried spamkiller and using the internet options. The filefolder appears empty but when you click on history in IE everythinig pops up?? Anyone have any suggestions??

Well lets see, been looking at some dirty stuff, eh? No problem everyone does it.

Anyway, try going to:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings

Replace YOURNAME with your Windows username..

I'm guessing you're on XP. Don't try to delete the folders: Browse in them and delete the contents inside.

If you're not on Windows XP or 2000 I can't help ya.

There will probably be 1 file that's in use. Thats usually uh a .dat file, which is normal.

try this:

right click IE-> properties-> content tab -> autocomplete button -> click all of the clear buttons (ie: clear forms, clear passwords, etc.) uncheck all of the boxes so you never have this problem again good luck not getting caught by your folks!

btw next time dont search for something (ie: dont type in boobie pics) go to www.boobiepics.com (prolly not a real place but you get the idea)

get Window Washer and it automatically cleans temporary files up

I have GoBack 3 Deluxe...

No, I don't have it to get rid of porno...

But regardless, when you revert your hard drive to a certain time, everything gets reverted, so you don't have to worry at all.

I use GoBack almost every day.

No...not for porn...for reverting my drive after faulty application installs.

It's the best $30 software I ever bought!

Edit: Haha, I just realized that daver is a virgin techie. Now we know why ...get out of the house, man!

Why do you need "GoBack"? Doesn't the Windows System Restore do the same thing?

Not at all. GoBack can bring back individual files, and it actually reverts the entire hard drive. System Restore just reverts hardware changes, but leaves files, etc.
