By purpose he means what are you planning to do with the computer in terms of applications. I'd go with the mobile though.

Both suck because they are Dell pc's. Have you looked at others yet? Toshiba makes some decent laptops, so does IBM. The reason DELL sucks is because they make crappy products and their support is terrible. Trust me you do not want to get stuck with a DELL.

why dont you go with another company like hp or emachines? They are better than dell.

Actually I'm gonna be using it for some designs, video editing, slide show and stuff like that....
tell me the truth are dell products really sucks or just the tech support?
i thought if a specs is declared as blah blah blah it's gonna be the same as other computer with the same specs...
am i making sense? i'm just learning so please bear with me.
plus, dell has a good 1yr no interest payment plan what else could i ask for lol
