Yes, I know it's 40gb, but my friend (whose computer this will be) has 7gb right now with half his space left, so it's plenty for him.

Squaggleboggin, stay away from that mobo. If your going to get a socket 754, then go with that one MegaDeth said. That mobo you want is trash, sorry for being so blunt. Mobo's are very important, if your going to get anything expensive, then the cpu and mobo will be. I think DFI Lanparty NF3 250GB, an eVGA GeForce 6600GT on AGP, and the AMD64 3000 is a damn good idea.

The problem is that my friend is trying to save some money by getting a mobo with onboard video and then upgrading later on with a video card. Upgrading is fun, plus it'll save some immediate money. Is there another mobo you'd recommend that has onboard video? The ones I put above seemed to be the best ones I could find that had onboard video. Thanks.

Intergrated Graphics Card + 3D Games = Garbage

Don't expect to play anything like Half Life 2 or Doom 3 with build in video capabilities.

I know the integrated graphics suck, but they're probably better than what he has now. We're not planning on playing any 3D games yet. Does anyone know any good mobos that'll support the above processor (AMD 64), ddr400 RAM, and has integrated video that's not too expensive? Squaggle...how do we put this to you...integrated graphics will cripple even the least graphics intensive games. There is no better mobo for S754 than the DFI Lanparty UT NF3 250GB...think about it...if cost is too much...then tune down your processor to the 2800+...it should shave off $30 and you could save costs that way...
