Graphics Card- Help me choose one!

Hi everyone,

Im upgrading my graphics card. I need to be able to play the sims 2 with it. Should I buy:-

ATI Radeon 9700Pro £91.06 (128mb)
Sapphire Radeon 9600XT £110.00 (256mb)
Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro £150.00 (128mb)

Is the extra xx amount for a 9800 pro worth it, i only really wanted to spend £120 but I have heard the 9800 pro is really good.

i would choose D a 6600gt as in nearly all benchmarks it beats the 9800pro (which is the best one you picked out there) and it is the same price as the 9800pro.

Get the 9600xt

I would have to say the Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro.
It beats both of those other cards and can be flashed to a XT if you want for extra performance.

If you really want a good graphics card I would have to say what Trifid which is a 6600GT.

Its much better than all those other cards and is worth the extra money.

Nah, non Pro 9800 would probably be beaten by the 9700 Pro and 9600XT

You dont need a radeon 9800pro for the sims 2 but the 9700pro is way faster than the 9600xt!

Out of those choices the best card is the 9800pro. Its the best card for the value. I have the card and have no complaints about it at all.

And to all those who suggest something from nvidia, maybe he has an older ati card and doesnt want to go through switching brands and all the drivers that go along with it.
