Yes IÂ’m sure we all relate to the pain of rebuilding your failed c drive .. not fun .. usually takes me about 25 hours or so to load 25 programs and the data again.

Please never again; now I have a dual hard drive machine
2X 120 gig identical hard drives and ghost 9 to make a mirror ghost.

If c: drive fails I want to boot up from the ghosted drive

The ghosting seems to be complete with all the files, but when I make the ghosted drive the boot drive windows xp will not allow me to log in .. just keeps resetting to ask me to log in again and again.

Was thinking a xp repair might be in order.

I donÂ’t care if I have to re-initialize my Microsoft office software.

Can anyone help me here!!

Thanks a lot Bill

Thanks Eric
can I not just get the ghosted drive TESTED to be bootable. I did not want to restore my mirror drive back over my perfectly good c drive.

I just want to make sure that this is functional working mirrored ghosted back up

thanks

I have use ghost in awhile. I use powerquest drive image. on your ghost software, it should be a ghost explorer(something like that) with the back up or restore a drive options so you can see your files, especially if you have it in a .gho or .v2i (they stole that last one from powerquest) files

If you can get powerquest. it is simple better and way faster
