I have purchased a mitsumi floppy and 7/1 reader combo. It takes the normal floppy cable but it also requires an internal usb connection which my board has two but I need one for two front usbs and two back usbs besides the built in ones I have. I hate to give up any usb ports if possible. Are there any internal y connectors that would solve this problem?

You can get cables that go from your internal usb headers, to your back panel giving you an extra 2 usb ports, i think thats what you are looking for. You can get them from computer and electronic stores and they are fairly inexpensve.

I think I am tired right now as I don't quite understand. The card reader has the internal connector and it only takes up one row of usb which leaves 3 empty rows to hook up the two to the back and I guess maybe I can sacrafice on in the front.

What I believe he is trying to do is split the USB header on the mobo so that he is able to connect 2 USB devices to it.
