Removable drives

I feel foolish asking this question but... I just reinstalled my Os (Win XP) on my Toshiba Notebook. I have some backed up information on a removable drive (Jump Drive). I insert the drive in my USB port, I hear the sound that windows recognizes new hardware, but nothing appears. It's supposed to show new hardware in the bottom right corner of my taskbar but it doesn't show up there. I check in 'My Computer' and the drive doesn't appear there. It does show up in Disk Management, but I can't access the information on the drive through there. I want it to pop up in My computer like it's supposed to, any suggestions?

Use Far manager. Installation driver again.

If you got start, setting, control pannel, system, device manager, then check there if it come up with any messages that something isnt working. Have you installed drivers for the usb, you might want to update them or something.

Go to Control Pannel and then Add a new Hardware and it should find it there.
