Passwords

Do you know if there is a way to put a password on a directory or the whole harddrive in XP Pro? Or is the My Documents directory the only way to hide files from other non-power users?

I dont Windows can do it but you can download programs that do it for you. Try searching Google or Download.com

Lockfolderxp is a good program to password protect and number of folders or the whole drive.

A good number of these types of programs cost a few bucks. But if you find a good free one, let us know.

Im pretty positive Windows XP Pro lets you protect files. Maybe even XP Home. I have no clue how you would do it. I suggest going to a book store, checking out a Windows XP Pro book, and look around.
