Are you sure you didnt short anything out? Do you have little pieces of cardboard standoffs? (THE LITTLE ROUND THINGS BETWEEN THE MOBO AND THE SCREWS)

no cardboard in there
i was planning on getting all new stuff i was just gonna use this in the meantime.....so i guess i'll just have to wait....that kinda sux unless i can figure it out...

AAHHH a thought!
tried reseating the ram?
and disconect cd roms and floppys... then try it using onboard (remove completely the video card.)
if that doesn't work i'm willing to bet you didn't use your anti-ESD wrist band did you?
it's like rulet without one.
