Hi thank you for your time in advance
Anyway sorry for another help building a PC post... I'm a new to the computer building scene... tried to research before I had the money.... but.... Now that I have some money to toss, I want a new comp... anyway I viciously searched through the forums but little applied to me... a lot didnÂ’t... haha... so I ask for anyone's help
But anyway I have about $1000 to spend... (including shipping) I tried shopping through newegg because a friend told me about it, seems nice... are there any other good sellers

Anyway this is what I have through my searching

ASUS A8V deluxe via K8T800 pro mother board
Athlon 64 3200+
XFX Nvidia Geforce 6600GT 128MB video card
Enermax blue aluminum ATX mid tower w/ 400W PSU
Sony internal dual layer 16X DVD+/-
Hitachi 250gb 7200rpm Hard drive
Kingston 184pin 512MB PC3200

Any opinions, comments, are different set ups are welcome
Thanks in advance
Anthony

oo 1000$ to spend, i'll edit this post once im done "shopping" for you, ill use newegg and include links..

Btw are you needing a moniter included in the price or do you have one?

thank you for your help sir your contributions will be considered...(haha sound like a professional)

one more question

i picked a motherboard with
"Onboard Audio: Realtek ALC850 8-CH"
that isnt a sound card... right?... or is it?
i have one in this computer that i can take out but i really dont want to

Thats integraded sound, it will do fine but, the card i showed is better quality.

of course that card is goin to be better quality but if your on a budget comp why spend 100 bucks on a sound card? unless youahve really good speaker syou will not notice a difference.

just use onboard. its pretty good on nforce chip sets

why spend 100 bucks on a sound card that wont help if he can add it to a video card or somethin. he could alwayz not spend any money on it and still have 150 extra bucks

hehe for $100 more he could move up to a eVGA GeForce 6800 :) Or he could go for a socket 939 chip and board.
