Service pack1a problem!

hi there.....

Am using XP Pro ,when i try to run the SP1a every thing goes fine , but it suddenly pop up an error saying : " The file Windows\system\drivers\atapi.sys is being used by another application " and it terminates.

I tried to install it in safe mode , but still the same problem...

any ideas ?!

Thats your cd drive. How many drives do you have running? Do you have an cd burning software? If you do, disable it in msconfig and reboot. See if that works.
