Can I erase a regular CD-R?

I've never broken a CD either.

I've destroyed, maimed, barbequed, poached, microwaved, exploded, desintegrated, flamed, coastered, shattered, knifed, shot, arrowed, crushed, melted, wrote with a mac, gnawled on, pliared, cut, stapled, nailed, hammered, used as dart boards, hole-punched, toasted, frozen, sandpapered...

...but I have never broken a CD before. Never. I swear it.

I personelly like to give them to our dog, and under supervision it is dam effective the erase them. Soaking them in gasoline is fun too, but good gloves are needed to throw em, and they are awesome to watch at night.
