Im having a rather ood problem with outlook pointing to a random server. For some reason when Outlook is started, on numerous computers it will come up and say that it is trying to retrieve information from a server that is not configured on it. For example, if the excahnge server is Mail1, outlook will often times come up and say it is trying to retrieve information from mail5 even through this has never been a mail server and outlook is not conifugred to use mail 5 as its server.
I've been looking everywhere to see what might cause this. It does not seem to be the result of a virus either. the anti viurs software has found nothing and there are not odd process running on the computers. To further prove that this is not a virus of spyware, I did a fresh install of windows and office and tested it. To my suprise, i got the same result but it seems to happen randomly.
Any Ideas or suggestions on what to try?
