Mic problem on audigy2 platinum

Hey I have the same card and the same problem. My Skype gets messed up and I have to go to the Creative program in Start menu, then restore defaults and it does it, but eventually it gets messed up again. Do me a favor and let me know if you get it resolved.

why not just plug mic in back. does creative have forums, if so they may be more help.

Its a logitech head set mic. It has two 1/8" jacks, one for the headphones and one for the mic. I like to use the front jack because its easily accesable and it has a volume control knob next to it.
