Upgrade

I want to upgrade my old DELL Dimension L700cx
It has a 700mhz Celeron 66mhz bus and 128mb SD pc133
I wanted to throw in a P3 700 with another stick of 128.
But i dont know if it can handle a P3.
The motherboard is a Intel 810PE
Model ### --> CA810E

66mhz Bus?? That can't be right? If the pin set is the same it should work fine, but the bus has to match.

I dont know too much about older computers but are you saying I can use a p3 with a 100mhz bus if i set the jumpers/pins to that bus?

66MHz bus speed is absolutely right for an older Celeron CPU.

For the P3 700, set the jumpers/dip switches to 100MHz, if there is also a setting for the multiplier, set this to 7 (hence 100 x 7). Otherwise you can assume it is automatic detected.
