Man i have been reading up stuff this weekend (asus doesnt seem to be that good of a board doesnt overclock well and unstable) , I would suggest you change that ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe nForce4 SLi for a
Sli-
MSI K8N SLI Platinum - nForce4 SLI or
DFI Lanparty UT nF4 SLi-D

Non Sli-
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum
DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra

either one of those will do, you could go with the nF4 ultra now that you arnt going with Sli or just get a sli board any you could maby get another 6800gt later if you need it
 
Handling those parts, when building, you MUST get a antistatic wriststrap or something.
