Which LCD, and questions on response times

I was wondering what peoples opinions here are on response time for LCD monitors. Is 16 ms really fast enough for games and movies, or should I look to 12 ms LCD's? I am looking for monitors that are at least 19 inches, any suggestions.

You already have a 16ms in your signature. Why are you asking?

Compared to CRT any LCD is crappy for gaming.

But after some time you will get used to it and 16ms will do fine, I think

Anyone here who has seen both 16 ms and 12 ms and can compare them?

Personally, my feeble human eyes cant really se a lot of blurring even on my 3 year old laptop LCD. I wouln't worry about, given the premium you pay to 12ms right now.

why not just get a good crt, for the price of a crappy lcd, you can get a nice crt that is better for gaming...
