6800GT cooling

I'm building a PC with a 6800GT in it and someone told me that the stock cooling is fine + i think it looks cool, but i've been hearing good things about Arctic Cooling's NV Silencer 5, is it better then stock cooling?

But yes any after market heatsink is going to be better than stock cooling. If you got the eVGA brand 6800GT then it basically already has an aftermarket heatsink because it's the heatsink meant for the Ultra on a card less powerful. But the NV Silencer 5 should be even better.

the NV silencer's are good coolers, although they take up a lot of space in your case

I have a friend who just sold his because it was too big, and he couldn't fit 2 of his hard drives in
