Ok, I have 300 PSU Watt+ right now.
I have
2.8 Pentium 4 GHZ HT
512 DDR RAM
160 GB Hard-Drive
MSI FX5200 128MB

Im changing my GFX card to eVGA 6600 GT 128MB, and it needs 350 PSU Watt at least. So here are some of the choices

1. Diablo ATX Mid-Tower Case with 450Watt Power Supply, Front Neon Lights, Front USB and Audio Ports

(Power Supply 450+ and Case)

2. Ultra / X-Connect / 500-Watt / ATX / Dual 80mm Fan / Titanium-Blue / Modular Power Supply

3. Ultra / Blue / 400-Watt / ATX / Dual 80mm UV Fan / Clear UV Sides / Power Supply

Thanks alot!!

Go with either one of the Ultras not a PSU that comes with a case as those are guaranteed to suck

okay, I'm not sure about X-Connect though. Is there a special way to connect that? And would it fit on all cases? (Even no name cases?)

Thanks!

Yeah, as long as it's your standard ATX case it'll fit. All the X-Connect means is that you can remove the plugs you don't need from the power supply. I actually built a computer for a kid and suggested he buy that PSU and it's a really great PSU.

At the back you simply plug in the molex connector to the PSU just like you would any other device. It's really nice actually.

No special connecting, just plug it in simple as that.

My friend runs a Powmax Demon 580W and it is very cheap. It runs very nice and I'm thinking of getting myself.

i would reccomend the x-connect too, makes for less clutter, but that isn't always true nubius, thermaltake cases w/ PSUs and antec cases w/ PSUs dont suck

Yeah, I know that, that's cause they actually put in their brand name quality PSU's but you're also paying like $125 for those cases.

I'm talking about generic no name cases for $50 like the one he linked are guaranteed to be crap.

cheap case with PSU = cheap PSU which will usually only give it's rated power output at peak load

the Ultra X-connect PSU's are some of the best quality I've seen, and they have made few PSU's to begin with (well there are colour variations if that counts)

Antec and Thermaltake still have very good PSU's too, especially Antec IMO
