links in outlook express

I having a problem with links in emails in Outlook express not working. Any ideas on how to correct this?

I have tried everything I can find to do. I have been to the OE help sites and done everything that was suggested and nothing works. Any suggestions. Oh, I am using XP Pro and OE 6 forgot to mention that earlier.

What do you mean by they're "not working"? Is there an error message?

Sorry I didn't explain in more detail. When I would clink a link in an email nothing would happen. No error message or transfer to where the link was to.
I tried everything I could think of. I finally just did a internet search for outlook fixes and came up with iefix that would correct the problem. If anyone else has this problem they can look here for something that might work for them too.
