Hardware Problem ?!?

Hi Guys,

I have 2 HDD's installed in my computer, they were both in My Computer before i took my primary drive out, but when i put it back in the other drive, which has all my backups, music and other stuff on it is no longer showing?

Anyone have any ideas?

Primary Drive is 40GB
Secondary Drive is 80GB

Just the 1 PC, 2 HDD's within it

Double check your cables and power to the absent HDD. Maybe it is loose or not connected.
Does it show in the BIOS?

no it is not showing in Bios either, it was working earlier though

Two things...
1) There is no power to the HDD or the cable is bad or connected incorrectly.
2) The drive is DEAD.

Drive DEAD, does that mean it wont work again? Damn i hope not, its like a month old, it was working earlier tho, so it might be the connection from when i took the other drive out

Lets clarify...
You took primary drive out and put it back in the same way? Curious, why did you take the drive out in the first place?

i took it out to put in a friends computer to slave his HDD, but i fixed the problem, was a loose connection thanks for your help
