First Build, gimme the scoop on these parts

Ok guys, this will be my first self built system. Basically for games and internet, light graphics work. What do you think of these parts.

CPU
AMD Athlon 64 - 3200 64 bit - Will I have any problems with XP using this?

MB
AOPEN AK86-L - I just picked one, lemme know if something is better.

HD
Western Digital HD 80 G - 80 Gig enough?

Video
Nvidia 6600, 128 MB - ????

Ram
1 gig of kingston ram or something comparable.

These are the basics Im wondering about. Havnt decided yet on a decent case. Im trying to build it for around 800, already have monitor, CD drives, keybord, mouse.

Also, with an AMD, will the system still run decent for doing light word processing, Excel, stuff like that? I know its great for games.

It depends.....if you have high-speed internet and download lots of stuff, then no. If yer on dialup and dont download lots, then its more than enough.

That's a good card, as long as it fits in yer budget, then sure.

This system will run perfectly for word processing, and excel.

Sweet, I have already decided to up my HD to 200. And probably go with a ASUS board, I was told they are pretty good, but pricey, my budget may have to be tweaked. I doubt i will need all the features that board offers.

Whats a decent board if I choose to go AMD 939 Socket?

While that is a good card, I would go with a 256 megabyte card instead. They will give you more graphical power, and you could probably get one for around the same price as the 6600.
