Which SATA scsi adapter to choose from floppy?

Yeah I was able to manage combining the Intels with the Silicon, that was all I could, but I am not sure if there were more options down there, I will try.
Thanks, though I think its just those 4.

OK that worked! 3114 didn't work though, it seems the VIA was what got it working.

BUT now it asks me to insert an old windows OS CD for some sort of verification!!! (NT, ME, 95, 98, 2000).

WHY! I AM INSTALLING WINXP HOME FOR THE FIRST TIME! :(

Maybe you purchased the upgrade version. It's ok just put in any full install of those discs... you must have one... I'm sure one can be found if you look in the right places ;).

Well the manual said that I can either upgrade or install and that the difference between the two is minute. Perhaps my version was upgrade-only, but I never would have guessed.

Anyway, yeah that looks to be the only solution. Thanks though, that silly scroll-down suggestion was the big break as far as the scsi adapters for me, THANK YOU!
It odd at all that the silicons didn't work, but rather the VIA?
