Buying a Socket 478

Do you think prices on these CPU's will come down anymore? I want to buy an upgrade at the best time, but don't want to wait till the line is discontinued.

Hmm, I don't think there is anything set, but I also don't believe they will release anymore CPU's for the 478, so they should start dropping in price soon

yeah, I knew they wouldn't release anymore, my motherboard only supports up to 3.0 anyway. But, I know when they discontinue them, prices start going up instead of down.

This is the lowest point for S-478. If you are an ocer, then get a P4 on a Prescott core. If you are not an ocer, then get it on the Northwood.
