exactly cappy, thats what is frustrating me......hp says my pc is able to work with 512 maximum, but 2 brand new sticks, dont work with my older 256......

ive used each 256 seperately, and they both work. pc boots up like normal. ive been usin this 256 wit my stock 64 for more than 3 years now. but when i try to install a new stick of memory to upgrade, they dont wanna work together.

my pc is runnin on an intel celeron 700mhz......

this shit is frustrating me, cuz i dont wanna go spend another $90 on another new 256 of memory to hopefully work with this other new one, then not have it work....

i appreciate all the help u guys r givin......keep it comin
