xp reformatting problem

After i reformatted my computer there is an error screen after windows starts saying " stop:c0000221 {bad image checksum} the image olethk32.dll is possibly corrupt. the header checksum does not match the computer checksum." does anyone know how to fix this problem?

True, you can try a chkdsk though.
Boot your XP disc and enter the recovery console by pressing (R)

type: chkdsk

could fix it
