any others? how about ati cards, they good and which ones? i'm just trying to find out what's the best value card.

video card

hey, i just saw a PNY GeForce FX 5700 LE Optima 128MB AGP Graphics Card on sale for $99.99. Is that a good card or do I need something even better? I really do hate my FX5200. I overclocked it yesterday and it works better but I need something new fast. Is the whole FX series pretty bad or is it just the 5200 that's bad?

Don't get anything in the FX series.... it's not what you want. I will be selling my card here shortly it's an Asus GeForce TI 4400 overclocked with thermaltake heatsink and fan.... it runs games like FarCry on medium settings pretty good.. PM if you are interested. I think that you may also need new memory. Your system supports ddr400 (pc3200) ram, you should probably get at least 1gb of pc3200 ram.
