60mm t0 80mm heatsink fan adaptor

Hi ive sorted out my fan prob found a place where i can get cpu fans and adaptors. my heatsink takes a 60mm fan and as youve guessed by my last posts the fan has stopped working. So on tuesday ive seen the heatsink and fan im getting but it comes with a 80mm fan. I cant afford to get it put in for me untill the week after but ive found a adaptor to allow me to use the 80mm fan on my heatsink. Is this a safe and good idea

I would think it would be much safer than your current 60mm fan. The bigger the fan, the better the air flow especially if you use a Tornado fan with it.

thaks again oidan also some people on ofher forums have suggestead hovering the dust of my powersupply fan from the back of the pc
