Yeah, the A8V Deluxe is the best 64 bit motherboard around right now for the price in my opinion, but I'd hold off until they replace the AGP with PCI E.

I'd say MSI Neo2-Platinum and Abit AV8-3rd Eye are better than the ASUS board but personally I think ASUS has gone down in quality over the years so that's why I don't particularly care for them now.

^^um, well the reason why that mobo's "cheaper", is because that one's a socket 754 board.

and this guy's interested in a socket 939 board.

anyway, mcnairgunz09 i just ordered this exact mobo for x-mas.

waiting patiently until my AMD64 3000+ CPU comes in tomorrow to set it all up.

when i get it runnin', i'll post back and give you my review...

i've always used AsUs mobo's, and i like them very much.

the integrated wi-fi capability of this mobo is a nice added feature.

that mobo's not bad...

apples and oranges really.

AGP vs. PCIe, your preference.

btw, that PCIe is out of stock too.

good mobo yes, availible now? no.

and it doesn't look like it's got a very interesting software bundle.

the A8V comes w/ some great DVD authoring software, PC-Cillin anti-virus, and a few other stuff.

i havent had any problems with mine.Although after using Auto Overclock you have to use reset to defaults in order to get your CPU voltage back down.

at last, PCI-E has arrived for AMD
the Asus A8V, the Abit AV8 3rd eye, the Gigabyte K8NS and the Gigabyte PCI-E board above are all good boards

I personally don't like getting other brands unless I can be sure that they are a good quality board
