my ipod is not visible in explorer, but it is in itunes.

why can't explorer see it?

Do you have to assign a drive letter to it? I dont know how to get an ipod working, I dont have one.

no-it should see it automatically.

It won't show up anywhere but itunes. It is not treated as a drive.

i found out that i need to "enable ipod for disk use" in order to drag files to my "notes" folder etc... how do i enable it for disk use? im confused... :S

hook it up to your comuter, open iTunes, and then right click on the iPod icon. There's an options menu for it that has a box you can check to enable it for hard drive use.

Brilliant. now how do i load images? theres a "photo import" option, but i can't figure out how to import them...

any ideas?

once the image is loaded can i view it?

You will not be able to view the images once they are loaded, you will only be able to use the space as storage for them.
