I Would say that for a Celeron 1.7 Ghz with 512MB PC133 with a ATI Radeon 9000 U can get around 800$ CAN. A Celeron 1.7 is a discontinued product which worth about 40$CAN cause the 2.2 worth about 80$CAN brand-new.For your PC133,I just baught 256 ans it cost me 60$CAN so if you get 50 for your used 512 you're lucky.Your video card worth about 80$CAN.....with your Hard disk of 40 GB which worth not more than 75$.....I'd say that if you get about 550$US sell it it doesn't worth more that that.

Yes, but your talking new. Once you drive a computer part off the showroom floor you loose a nice chunk of it's value.

I too would pay $300 for it. It's a low end system. Hell, I'd probably buy it for the DVD drive and use the rest as a linux server. Can't play games on it.

Don't feel bad. This is the way technology works. The system I built a year ago for $1500 is now worth about $1000.
