Save To Desktop Backround

When I open My Pictures Folder and right click on any of my photos to SAVE TO DESKTOP BACKROUND, it will not preform this task.. Even when I go to my Desktop to Properties and Display to Desktop Tab, any icon with a jpeg icon will not open, but the btmap icons will..I can always browse and then this will work, or they will save to desktop on my Adobe Photo Album.
It used to work and I have troubleshot all I can.. Does anyone know what might be creating my problem... HELP!
I am running Windows XP Service Pac 2.

Maybe play around with your display settings. I think you may have tweaked something or done something that prevents it from applying that image to the desktop.
