Double RAMs

ok, i have a 512 stick and a 256.....now, is it better to have both in for 768 RAM or just the 512 in for 512 RAM. both ARE same speed (p2700)

i ask b/c ppl have said that the two in together would just be like having a fast 256.

pS. eventually i'll get another 512, fyi

Yes, especially for gaming. As long as they ae the same speeds more RAM is better.
