Vitrual memory low?

I got a messege saying my virtual memory was low. I went and changed it to allow my system to manage it. I don't know why the heck it is low. not running to many programs. Any ideas?

When setting your virtual memory, the opinions vary on just how much you should allocate. Myself, I use 2x the amount of memory for the minimum and maximum size of the virtual memory, and have never had any problems.

I'd say, the more RAM u got.. the less pagefile u need.

Thanks for the replies. I have never had any trouble. My meter says I have 50% free.
