ATi vs. ATi

is there a dramatic difference between an ATi 9200se and an ATi 9600?

i think there would be, but i haven't had any first hand experience with any ATi card. I do know that when my 5200 dies, i'll be replacing it with a 9600.

Yeah, 9200 is the lowest they make at the moment, and an SE is worse than a regular, so its basically the worst of the worst. I have a 9600 np and it does fine with most games. Great price/performance value.

Go with the Abit R9550-Guru which is a Radeon 9550. The 9550 was released after the 9600xx. The Guru version allows you to oc and it should allow you to beat out a 9600 or any 9600.
