Need to Build a Desktop to work with Windows 2003 server

Could anyone give me a hardware list which are compatible with Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition Server Operating System?

I had a nightmare tried to make Dell Dimension 3000 to work with Windows 2003 server OS. At the end, I had to return the computer to Dell.

Now I have to build my own box to work with 2003 server OS


Could anyone help? Thanks.

What does it mean by

133 MHz for x86-based computers
733 MHz for Itanium-based computers*

Would those the reasons that my Dell Dimension won't work with Windows 2003 server?

well the x86 are refering to the pre-historic 386 and 486 machines i think but im not sure why it mentions two types...can anyone explain?
