Those are not Canadian prices. If they are where are you shopping?

EDIT: I take that back I thought you said 9800 pro for $119. :p

The parts sound good but get better RAM like DDR PC3200. SDRAM is horrible IMO. Everything else looks fine. I prefer ASUS mobos but you can get anyone that will fit that processor. Keep in mind the socket though. Good luck on building your PC.

so ddr ram eh? ya i though ... well i knew there was a better kinda ram... just couldnt remember I'm lookin at these prices on www.computercenter.com and doe s the socket of the cpu have to match the motherboard?

Could somebody go through the main points about power and cooling? thanks

I decided on this MOBO
ASUS K8V-X* 754 $109.97

If you're going with a 64 bit proccesor, I cannot stress enough that you should go with a 939 socket as opposed to a 754, a bit more expensive perhaps, but it has far better performance and leaves the door open for upgrades in the future.

Also, even if you aren't comfortable building your own computer, for a small fee you can pick out your parts and have someone working at the store do it for you.

the FX 5200 card stincks if you want to really enjoy the game Play of Call Of Duty .Get a 9800 pro or Nvidia 6600 GT

I thought that the socket of the cpu had to match the soclet of the motherboard.

and this is the only one
ASUS A8V-DX* 939 $174.97
