Um... Remote Procedure Call service? Eh?

Ok, this is annoying me very much. Three times in the past hour, my month-old Compaq Presario w/ Windows XP has told me that it will be shutting down in exactly one minute and to save all my work because the Remote Procedure Call Service has terminated unexpectedly.

Um, anyone have any idea what's going on here? It's never done this before and it's very, very annoying.

I installed the patch and it seems to have stopped... Thanks for your help guys. *hugs tech forums* I love this place.
