new computer

IÂ’m getting a new mother board and processor because my old 1 is broke. Anyways hereÂ’s what im going for just need some advice on the graphics and sound cards.

Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra-939 Athlon64/64 FX Socket-939 Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64bit 3000+ Socket-754 Processor- Retail Boxed
256MB DDR400MHz PC3200 184-pin DIMM
Trust 4000P 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System

yeah your motherboard is a 939 socket and your processor is a 754 socket

so rather get a 939 socket cpu and also get more ram

Get an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ along with 512MB (2 x 256MB DC) RAM. This will set you up great. Also, screw the GAK8NS. Get an MSI K8N Neo Platinum 2 (I believe) and it is a great board.

Whats wrong with a gig of ram? I would go with a gig of ram, a 939 proccessor and motherboard.
