i play games i guess so... Does dual channel make THAT much of a difference that its worth an extra 30$ i think ova just normal ram.

Nextly.. is dual channel ram just like 2 sticks of the same ram so u can just plug em in and it runs in dual like just 2 normal chucks o ram?

for gaming it would make a noticable difference, unless your CPU's FSB restricts the transfer speed

you can use 2 sticks of RAM in dual channel as long as they are the same frequency and latency; it is usually best if they are the same brand and model
sometimes you can use slower RAM with faster RAM, but the faster RAM would slow down to the slower RAM's speed

dual channel means that the transfer speed of both sticks is being used at the same time; transferring data to and from the 2 sticks at the same time is faster than transferring data to and from a single stick of the same speed
