If you decide to go with that motherboard, I recommend this RAM:

It is on the Qualified Vendor List on the ASUS website for that particular motherboard, and I have had no problems with it as well.

Guys, it's bothersome when you post useless stuff. He specifically said he CAN'T ORDER OFF THE NET. So why bother with the "get this off newegg.com" rambles. Sorry, but it really bothers me. Oh yea, your rig looks just fine for what your needs are. Upgrade to the Maxtor and I would keep the 2500+ and speakers. Don't go for the Athlon64 unless you plan to go hardcore gamer anytime soon. It's nice, but when on a budget it's not necessary.
