Hello. Can someone tell me what it is really 'used' for?

Is it a desirable or 'preferred' payment method?
Is it good or necessary?

Or should you just use debit?

Thx

Never use debit online if at all possible. Debit does not offer the protections of a credit card.

PayPal is extremely useful online but it is not accepted everywhere (I'm looking at you, Amazon). It gives you a layer of separation between you and who you are dealing with, as well as offers some extra protections for both parties.

Thanks.

Not in the US, anyway. Very few places online will bother with MO's and such. PayPal is free to set up and super easy to get verified provided you have a bank account.
