Two Wifi Connections

Hey there,
I'm about to order a Wifi reciver in order to connect my pc to a projector wirelessly.
on the other hand my internet connection is router Wifi based.

can i keep this two connections alive in the same time?

Yea why not? Put them on different subnet if you're worried.

More than likely your projector will run on a seperate connection invisible to the ethernet adapter side of Windows. Think something like WiGiG.
