Dell Latitude E6410 Keyboard Problem

Hi
I have a oldish Dell Latitude E6410 , when I press the @ key in MS Word , it displays a " , and when I press £ sign it displays a # , have UK Keyboard in settings .
Changed the keyboard , but still the same problem .
Anyone got any idea as what the problem is

Thanks for your reply , I have done it , it by clicking on the ENG on the bottom bar and changing it to English ( Unted Kingdom ) United Kingdom Keyboard .
I had it set for UK keyboard in windows settings , so do not know why it had to be done again there .
